Shoretrax Bike Track

Our fully-portable “Shoretrax” bike track is manufactured in the UK and can be designed to suit almost any size of venue such as a car park; sports hall; large garden; playing field or warehouse.

The portable bike track is fully insured and manned by our British Cycling certified Mountain Bike Coaches and can be run as an oval, triangular or rectangular “Pumptrack”, or we can split sections to recreate a fully-fledged Mountain Bike trail incorporating many of the technical features that you’d find out in the trails such as;

Rollers (small humps or mounds which can be “pumped” or jumped to generate speed between corners).

Berms (banked corners to allow riders to lean the bike further and carry higher speeds).

Table-top (a flat-topped ‘box’ with ramps either side which can be rolled or jumped).

Skinny (a narrow section of track which set either at ground level or raised to create a bridge).

Rumble Strip (a bumpy section surfaced with half-logs to simulate riding over rocks and roots).

Drop-off (a raised step that you must drop off – landing on both wheels at the same time).

Skills Course

Our skills obstacles are portable and fit easily in to a van, making it a more affordable alternative to our Shoretrax. Our Skills Course can be set up in any suitable open space – car park, sports hall, large garden, playing field or empty warehouse.  Made from durable hardwood with non-slip surfaces the skills loop can be as easy or hard as needed and can quickly be altered to suit any requirements.

Here are some of the obstacles that are featured in our skills loop:

Box Ramp (this obstacle requires momentum and balance to ride up and over it – it’s a lot easier than it looks and will increase any riders’ confidence).

Skinny (a low, long and skinny ramp that riders must ride over) good balance and knowing where to look will keep the rider on track

See-saw (riders must keep up good momentum, balance and look ahead to master the ups and downs of the see-saw)

Drop-off (a raised step that you must drop off – landing on both wheels at the same time).
