Starting Wave Times
You will receive an email a minimum of one week prior to race day, explaining how to pre-book your starting wave (by phone or email) to avoid too much hanging around on the day. This email will also contain a pre-race safety briefing and any other relevant updates you may need. Please check your spam folder in case it’s gone in there.
Registration: From 7.30am at the Muckmedden tent in the event village.
Wave 1 will leave the event village at 9am (approx.) and riders will set-off in waves of 15 riders every 5 minutes. Please arrive at registration a minimum of 1 hour before your wave start time.
Cut off for all stages is 3.45pm.
All riders will receive a safety briefing via email and be briefed at the start line on any relevant updates.
Prize-giving at 4.30pm approx – all riders have the chance to win some swag in our Random Raffle, but you must be there to win.
7 stages containing everything from bike park jumps to rocky chutes, wet roots, high-speed singletrack and steep drops. The entire course should take 2 – 5hrs to complete and will be between 20 – 25km in length with 2000-2500ft of climb and descent (approx).
- Fully fastening, undamaged safety helmet
- Protective gloves
- Bar end plugs
- Fully-functional mountain bike in good condition
- Closed-toed shoes
- Packable, thermal/waterproof layer
- Sufficient fluid/snacks for a full day on the hills
- Spare tubes, quick-links, multi-tool, pump
- Fully-charged mobile phone with credit

- Basic first aid kit with bandages, wipes, sterile dressings etc
