With Christmas just a week away, many of you may be wondering what the heck to buy your loved one(s) for a pressie this year. Well….we’ve got a suggestion for all the Mountain Bikers in your life.
Instead of buying some old tat that’ll sit in the drawer, why don’t you get them something they’ll actually enjoy? Like entry to a Muckin’ Good Event in 2019? Because life experiences are so much more awesome than talc. If you want to make it an even better pressie you could always stash the ticket confirmation inside a 2kg box of chocolates. What’s that? Your beloved Mountain Biker doesn’t like chocolates? Bring them round here and I’ll dispose of them humanely. Oh you’re welcome 🙂
In case you haven’t been on social media lately, we’ve just announced our 2019 line-up and we’re just a little bit excited about it! First up we’re set to return to our spiritual home in Pitmedden on 7th April for the return of the super-tough 6hour. It’s been four years since we held this event so it might be a new one to some of you, but believe me when I say it’s a tough wee cookie. With it’s technical singletrack and unrelenting topography, six hours in Pitmedden will sort the women from the girls, the men from the boys and the goats from the frogs (I don’t know either, just roll with it).
Open to Solos and Pairs, the 6hour is Cross Country riding with Downhill attitude, so it’s a great event no matter whether you normally ride Enduro, Downhill or Cross Country. Don’t think you’ve got six hours in your legs? Team up with a mate and shred miles of awesome singletrack for three hours each. Think six hours sounds a bit tame? Enter the Singlespeed/Retro category and rip your legs off.
Go on, you’ll LOVE it!
Next up we have the one and only Faiiiir Ciiity Enduuuro in Perth on October 26th, which has just been announced as an EWS Qualifier for the second year in succession. Scotland’s only EWS Qualifier no less! Whether you’re looking to rack up Enduro World Series points, or you’ve always just fancied shredding sick trails dressed as Tinky Winky, be sure to get your entry in early as tickets are going to sell FAST!
Which brings us very neatly (it’s almost as if it was planned) to the fact that our 2019 Earlybird tickets are now on sale. We’re offering 20% off all 2019 tickets until 1st February, so if you’re definitely planning to do any of our 2019 events, there’s no time like the present to get your entry in.
