Frog Bikes describe themselves as “A small British company dedicated to making cycling fun for children.” Talk about a partnership made in heaven! We’re dedicated to making biking fun for everyone, including kids, so we’re hopping with excitement Frog Bikes are supporting our events this year!

Geddit?  Hopping?  Frog?  Oh forget it.  Just keep reading.

Frog Bikes believe that the lighter the bike, the easier it is for children to learn to ride, and to enjoy it more as their riding progresses.  It’s a mantra that I simply can’t deny after experiencing the “Frog Effect” with my own family recently.  Purchasing a purple “Frog 55” a few months ago resurrected Wee Mucker Number 2’s love for riding bikes after a few “wilderness months” riding a kid’s bike that weighed the same as a small car.  I thought I’d get away with it for a while as we already had the other bike in the shed, but it was a total backfire and the “car bike” almost killed off her love of two wheels completely.

But Frog Bikes came and saved the day.  Hooray!

Frog Bikes founders, Jerry and Shelley, are a couple who have 2 small children of their own – both keen cyclists, and they clearly know what motivates children to get on their bikes!  Since the first prototype arrived, Frog Bikes have always been robustly tested by the children and all their friends.

Frog is proud to be a family run and owned business and won the FSB & Worldpay family business of the year award for the south-east region.

Seriously, how cool are these guys?!

But Frog Bikes are only great for wee kids right?  They’re not like real Mountain Bikes are they?

Until now…..

Frog Bikes have just launched their superb “Junior” range of Mountain Bikes, designed specifically to take your wee shredder’s riding to the next level (and probably leave you behind in their trail dust – depressingly)!   With three models, suitable from 8 to 14+ years old, these lightweight trail munchers are the real deal, featuring hand picked components such as specially tuned, adjustable air-sprung forks, hydraulic disc brakes, rapid-fire gears and lightweight aluminium frames, all designed specifically to keep weight down while remaining robust enough to take a beating.

Kermit ain’t playin’ around no more.  He means business!

Thanks to the generosity of this amazing British bike brand, we have a fantastic Frog Bike to give away at each Muckmedden event this year!  It can be any model, including the new Junior MTB’s and anyone can win!

Keep an eye out over the next few weeks for details!

EXCITED MUCH??!!
