As Black as the Blackest Black

There’s no getting away from it, the clocks have gone back and Winter is here.  Farewell Summer you irritatingly unpredictable season, it was nice to see you briefly……..in April.  Next year, if you could appear sometime after the BBQ and paddling pool have been set up it would be much appreciated 🙁

Anyway, let’s not get bitter just because for the next couple of months whenever we’re not at work (most of us anyway) we’ll be thrust into constant darkness, mud and Christmas Carols.  But you’re not prepared to curl up into a ball and hibernate, surviving only on Port and Ferrero Rocher until Spring are you?  What do you mean “yes”?  No you’re not!  You’re going to (wo)man-up and embrace the night riding season by throwing off that terry-towelling housecoat, kicking off those novelty slippers (the ones that look like bear paws) and charging up those lights.  It’s night riding season and it’s time to scare yourself witless, sorry I mean, thrill your senses so you feel truly alive.

From 3pm until 6pm on November 11th, Ginger Squirrel Adventures will take a bunch of lovely females out on the final Muckmaiden Ladies Ride Out of 2017.  This year’s Muckmaiden days have all been belters so far, from Newburgh to Forfar and Perth and Falkirk will be no different.  Well it will be a bit different, because it’ll be dark at 5pm.

If you have never tried night riding before, you then have the option to test out some super high quality Exposure Lights and introduce yourself to a whole new world of mountain biking awesomeness.  Night riding!  If you like the sound of that, just book your ticket by clicking the button below and email info@muckmedden.co.uk before November 7th to reserve your set of Exposure Lights.

Fancy brushing up on those skills?  Progression Bikes will be running one of their super-popular female-specific skills coaching sessions from 10am until 1pm.  No lights required and you will have the opportunity to hone your technique in corners, jumps, drops and any other areas you’d like to work on.

Ladies, get entering and own the Winter…..

I Want To Be A Winter Mountain Biking Goddess!

Try out some amazing Exposure Lights on race day!

We’ll also have Exposure Lights available to test out at Falkirk Funduro.  If you’d like to test some out (and see what you’ve been missing all this time) please email info@muckmedden.co.uk for more info.
