Oh yes, it’s finally happening! We’ve been planning this since the first Eliminator back in 2013 but it hasn’t quite come to fruition……until now. The 2017 Eliminator MTB Festival will also feature an XC Eliminator “invitational” tournament on the Friday night and it’s going to be absolutely MUCKIN’ MEGA!
Think of the XC Eliminator as 4-Cross for XC riders. No big gap jumps or death drops, just a feature-packed, 2-3 minute track with steep climbs, fast descents and lots of opportunity for overtaking. Four riders race elbow-to-elbow in each heat and the first two riders across the finish line progress to the next round, the other two are Eliminated. Simple, explosive, adrenaline-fuelled and super-fun to watch (and even better to ride).
Oh Mammy-Daddy, we cannot wait for this!
