What is Muckmaiden?
Muckmaiden Ladies Days are held a couple of weeks before each Muckmedden event to give female riders the chance to enjoy a social ride on the trails that will be used in the upcoming race, or get some professional coaching in a female-specific environment.
The Guided Rides at Muckmaiden Ladies Days are run by Ginger Squirrel Adventures and give female riders an opportunity to practice tricky sections and get advice from the ladies who regularly podium in the UK MTB racing scene.
Fair City Enduro is one of Muckmedden’s flagship events and the trails are a bit more technical than the others. With an honest grading of “Red with Black Graded Features” this Muckmaiden day sells out fast so don’t hang about if you want to guarantee a place. It may be worth considering the coaching for this one if you are unsure how spicy the Black graded technical sections will be.
Thanks to funding, GSA are able to keep their costs down to a hugely discounted £5.00* for female Fair City Enduro race entrants and £15.00 for non-racers! As GSA are a non-profit organisation, all funds are invested into getting women on Mountain Bikes. We all want that don’t we?

Skills Coaching is provided by Progression Bikes. These sessions are perfect for any female riders looking to hone their MTB skills, no matter what level they ride at. There are two sessions per Muckmaiden day, which are split into two groups; Novice/Intermediate and Intermediate/Advanced. Sessions concentrate on specific areas of your riding, such as tackling drop-offs, jumps and roots. The cost is £35 per person and includes the smug satisfaction of knowing you’re now a better rider than when you started.
All attendees must agree to our terms and conditions before purchasing tickets.
