Merry Muckin’ Christmas and a Happy New Year Muckers!

Whether you’re a participant, marshal, sponsor, trader or long-suffering partner who’s been dragged along kicking, screaming and biting to one of our events (hopefully not that last one), thanks for your continued support this year and for making the events as much of a laugh as they are.  They just seem to get better don’t they?

We’re opening for entries on the 30th January for our 2017 events, which should give you enough time to get another pay packet in the bank and us enough time to get the new Eliminator page up and running, get some PR out and get the new shop and entry system on this website finished.

2017 is shaping up to be another belting year, The Eliminator is returning as a family-friendly festival with (of course!) the one and only Head2Head Race but we’re also nicking all the best bits from Cream o’ the Croft and bolting on an off-road Duathlon called The Muckathlon and an invitation-only XC Eliminator on the Friday night!  Whooweee, what a weekend that’s going to be!  Look out for all the details to be published on The Eliminator page in the New Year which will let you know what’s happening and when.

If you’ve never been to The Eliminator before, you’ll absolutely love it.  If you have been before, I know you’ll be looking forward to it as much as I am.  Don’t worry COTC fans, “Scotland’s Mountain Bike Festival” will be back at Comrie Croft from 15 – 17th June 2018, so we’ve got plenty of time to make it even more awesomerer.

Of course we also have the ever-popular Angus Cycling Festival featuring Forfar Funduro in September, Fair City Enduro in October and Falkirk Funduro returns to Callendar Estate in November (it all seems like such a long time away at the moment but no doubt the events will come round in no time as always).

Anyhoo, for now I’ll just say one last thank you for the support in 2016 and I look forward to seeing you all next year.

Until then, take care and have a good one.

Aaron and the Muckmedden Crew.
